Local coverage
Wall printing for London, delivered by a team that actually travels there
London is the busiest part of our coverage and the place where direct-to-wall printing earns its keep fastest. Floor space in the capital is expensive, so nobody can afford a reception, showroom or studio closed for three days while paste dries and installers trim vinyl. Our printer travels to the wall, prints your artwork straight onto the plaster or masonry, and the UV ink cures as it is laid, so the room is ready to use the moment we pack the machine away.
We work right across Greater London, from City and Canary Wharf office floors to creative studios in Shoreditch and Hackney, retail and hospitality in the West End, schools and healthcare buildings in the outer boroughs, and residential projects in Docklands, Greenwich, Croydon and the suburbs beyond the North Circular. Because the machine prints up to 4 metres high and unlimited in length, a double-height atrium wall or a long corridor is a single continuous image rather than a grid of panels.
London jobs also come with London constraints: loading bays, permit windows, lift access, out-of-hours working and building management sign-off. We plan around them. RAMS are supplied for every job, we are publicly liability insured, DBS checked and CHAS accredited, which is usually what a managing agent or facilities team needs to see before we are allowed on site.
Response times to London
We are based in Essex, a straight run into the capital via the A13, A12 and M25, so London site visits are straightforward for us to reach and are arranged for a date that suits you.

Why London businesses choose UK Wall Printing
Genuinely no disruption to trading
The ink cures under UV as it is printed, so there is no drying time to plan around. London retail, gyms and offices reopen the same day rather than losing a week.
Built for London access constraints
Standard heights need no scaffolding, the set-up is quiet and contained, and we supply RAMS per job so building management and facilities teams can approve us quickly.
Compliance London clients ask for
Public liability insured, DBS checked and CHAS accredited: the paperwork schools, NHS sites and managing agents request before a contractor is signed on.
Finish that survives London footfall
Washable, scratch-resistant prints lasting around 10 years indoors and 5 years outdoors, in buildings where hundreds of people brush past a wall every day.
Local conditions
The wall problems we see again and again in London
Period and converted stock with imperfect walls
Much of London's commercial space sits inside Victorian, Edwardian and mid-century buildings that have been converted more than once. Old walls are rarely flat and rarely uniform. We survey for flatness, damp, dust and existing coatings at the free site visit, because that determines how the artwork is prepared and how well the ink holds.
Vinyl failing in heated, high-traffic interiors
Wallpaper and vinyl in busy London buildings lift at the corners near radiators, lift doors and pinch points, then get picked at. Printing into the wall removes the edge that fails; there is nothing to peel.
Damp and condensation in older buildings
Basement units, ground-floor retail and older converted stock across the capital often carry moisture problems that destroy pasted coverings. We check the wall before quoting and tell you honestly if it needs remedial work first.
Access windows, permits and shared buildings
Loading restrictions, lift bookings and out-of-hours access are normal in central London. We plan the visit around your building's rules and keep set-up compact so a shared corridor or lobby is not blocked all day.
Our process
The same five-step system on every London job
-
Step 1
Free site visit and wall survey
We come to you, measure the wall, check it for flatness, damp, dust and existing coatings, and confirm the printable area. Our machine prints up to 4 metres high and unlimited in length, so the survey is where we work out exactly how your artwork maps onto the surface you have.
-
Step 2
Artwork preparation and digital proof
Send us your own file or let us create the design. We scale it to the true wall dimensions, correct resolution, colour and crop, then issue a to-scale digital proof. Nothing is printed until you have signed that proof off, so there are no surprises on the wall.
-
Step 3
Surface preparation and machine set-up
The wall is cleaned and prepared, the printer is set up against it and calibrated, and RAMS are supplied for the job. Set-up is quiet, contained and needs no scaffolding for standard heights.
-
Step 4
Direct-to-wall printing with instant UV cure
GREENGUARD Gold certified Nazdar 270 series UV inks are printed straight onto the wall and cured instantly as the head passes. There is no drying time, no solvent smell and no plastic film, so the image is finished the moment the last pass completes.
-
Step 5
Inspection, sign-off and clean handover
We walk the finished wall with you, check colour and edges, clear the area and leave the space usable straight away. The cured print is washable and scratch resistant, and lasts roughly 10 years indoors or 5 years outdoors.
Questions
Wall printing in London: your questions answered
Do you cover London?
Yes. London is one of our main service areas and we cover all Greater London boroughs, from the City, Canary Wharf and the West End through to outer boroughs such as Croydon, Bromley, Ealing and Enfield. We also work nationwide for multi-site contracts.
How quickly can you get to a site in London?
We are based in Essex with direct routes into the capital via the A13, A12 and M25. We will confirm a survey slot to suit you when you enquire.
How much does wall printing cost in London?
Every wall is priced individually because size, surface condition, access and artwork complexity all change the job. The free site visit produces a written, bespoke quote for your specific wall, so there is no hourly guesswork.
Can you work outside office hours in a London building?
Yes. Out-of-hours and weekend working is common in managed London buildings and we plan around permit windows, lift bookings and loading restrictions. Tell us the building's rules and we will build them into the schedule.
Do we need to close the office or shop while you print?
Usually not. The UV ink cures as it is laid, there is no paste and no solvent smell, so the area is usable as soon as we pack up. Many London clients keep trading in the rest of the space while we work.
How large can a mural be in a London atrium or stairwell?
We print up to 4 metres high and unlimited in length as one continuous image, so long corridors and tall feature walls are covered without panel joins or seams.
How long will a printed wall last in a busy London building?
Around 10 years indoors and 5 years outdoors. The print is washable and scratch resistant, which matters in receptions, gyms and school corridors that take constant contact.
Are your inks safe for schools, nurseries and healthcare sites in London?
Our Nazdar 270 series UV inks are GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, and the process produces no plastic waste because nothing is laminated or stuck to the wall.
Can you supply insurance and method statements for our managing agent?
Yes. We are publicly liability insured, DBS checked and CHAS accredited, and RAMS are supplied for every job as standard.
Do you also work in Essex and the wider South East?
Yes. Alongside London we regularly work across Essex, including Romford, Grays, Basildon, Chelmsford, Rayleigh and Southend-on-Sea, and throughout the South East and the rest of the UK.
